Welcome

Welcome to Artfuel's online home. Our physical home close to the centre of Doncaster in South Yorkshire, known for engineering, horse racing, markets and sweets but not, traditionally for the arts. Artfuel hope to help change this, offering art for all; studio space to work in, workshops for adults and children, art exhibitions, mentoring, arts projects and events and internships for those wanting to gain experience of working in the arts sector.

Working With Artfuel

If you would like to work with Artfuel, either as an intern, or as a volunteer, please contact us via email on info@artfuel.org.uk.

Lovers Statue Restored

Artfuel are very proud to have commissioned talented local sculptor, Amanda Hughes-Lubeck, on behalf of St Modwen to restore the Lovers Statue.

Formerly sited at the Frenchgate Centre when it was known as the Arndale Centre, it has now been re-sited at the Waterdale Centre.

We have had people originally involved in designing and building the original statue get in touch with us. In fact, Eck who came up with the original designs, contacted us and came all the way from Australia to have a look at the results of his original sketch!

Please email us on info@artfuel.org.uk or call 01302 360571 for more details.
